Hang Tough: Dick Winters

Penn Cinema will show the documentary "Hang Tough" about the late Dick Winters and the soldiers who landed on the Normandy coast on D-Day at 7 p.m. Thursday Oct. 18 at the IMAX Theatre.

The film focuses on Winters' leadership skills and includes interviews with Major Winters and the members of the "Band of Brothers" who are still alive.The film also touches on the relationship Winters had with those in Normandy post-WWII. Winters led the famed assault on D-Day to take out four German 105mm guns firing on American troops landing on Utah Beach. The film is narrated by Damian Lewis, who played Winters in HBO's 2001 miniseries "Band of Brothers."
