Some good stuff to know...
Here are some good tips for parents regarding your children and Penn Cinema.
Babies and Toddlers:
-Please be sensitive to your fellow movie-goers. if your baby or toddler is having trouble, please bring them out into our corrdidor so as to not disrupt the feature.
-We do have changing tables in our main bathrooms.
-We do have bean-bags available for toddlers who might otherwise have trouble sitting through a feature presentation. if you do not see bean-bags in your theater please ask a manager if any are available.
Pre-Teens:
-No person under 17 is allowed in an R rated movie unless accompanied by an adult.
-You may use your own discretion in allowing your pre-teen to see a movie by themselves. If you have questions about a film's content you can ask the manager on duty or the Box Office for information about certain films.
Dropping Off and Picking Up:
-For security purposes, the front doors of the theater are locked approx. 15 minutes after the last show begins. If you are picking up a teen after the late show, please do not expect to wait in the lobby, you may not be able to get in. Likewise, if a guest leaves during the last show they will not be able to get back in.
-For security purposes we do call the Manheim Township Police if teens are loitering after hours or without a ticket. For their own safety, please be prompt in picking up your teen after a late show.
Disruption of Movies:
-We know that teenagers are teenagers and we do not judge them, but we do hold them responsible for their behavior. If they are disruptive or are perceived to be disruptive in a movie, we will stop the movie, turn up the house lights and they will be escorted from the building without a refund. If they continue to be disruptive, belligerent or otherwise problematic we will, and have in the past, called the police to have them escorted off the grounds.
-For security purposes, Penn Cinema is under video surveillance at all times.
