WE’RE HITTING
THE PAUSE BUTTON…

POSTED: Monday, March 17 at 2:59pm

As this unprecedented situation has unfolded, we’ve been monitoring it closely and taking the necessary precautions and proactive steps to remain safe in an ever-changing environment. But further steps need to be taken to stem the spread of this pandemic. So for now, in compliance federal, state and local guidelines, and also with the best interests of our staff, guests and community in mind, we are hitting pause and taking an extended intermission at all of our locations.

Thank you for your commitment to our family-owned and independently operated business. We look forward to serving you again in the future.

Be safe and stay healthy.

SEATING CHANGES AND ADDITIONAL SAFETY MEASURES

POSTED: Thursday, March 14 at 5:30pm

We’re hard at work to maintain the same level of safety and cleanliness that you have come to expect from Penn Cinema. With heightened health concerns, please note the following updates that you may see when you visit a location or attempt to purchase a ticket:

  1. In an effort to offer desired separation, we have limited capacity in all of our auditoriums to 50%. In addition, when purchasing tickets, you’ll notice that every other seat has been removed from the seat map. If your party would like to sit together, select two seats located in the row of your choice. When you arrive, you are welcome to sit in any of the seats in-between your selected seats. If you need any help with this, our Team is happy to help!
  2. If you’d like a refill on your large popcorn, we’ll provide a completely new bucket each time. No need to be passing a used bucket back and forth.
  3. You’ll see that our auditorium doors are now propped open and our bathrooms are doorless so you shouldn’t have to touch many, if any, door handles during your visit.
  4. While our seats, armrests and cupholders are disinfected regularly, disinfectant wipes are now available at our usher station if you would like some additional sanitation.

In addition to these updates, please note:

  • We continue to sanitize all high touch surfaces including counter tops, door handles, point of sale screens and kiosks, bathroom fixtures and surfaces, auditorium seating, concession equipment and more.
  • Bathrooms are fully stocked with soap and paper towels. In addition, hand sanitizer stations are placed throughout the building for your use.
  • Our Team has been instructed to stay home if they are under the weather.

Our Team is standing by if you have any questions. Please feel free to give us a call at 717.626.7720 or shoot us an email at hello@penncinema.com.

To Our Friends and Family:

The Management Team at Penn Cinema is closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and the impact it is having on our community. We share your concerns regarding the spread of the virus and your safety is, as it always has been, our top priority.

Remarkable cleanliness has always been a hallmark of the Penn Cinema experience. In that regard nothing has changed – although we have taken additional measures for safety. Those measures include the additional disinfection of frequently touched surfaces such as the concessions stand counters, door handles, seats and armrests and all restrooms. There are also additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the theaters. In addition, we a have made fragrance free sanitizing wipes available at all Usher stations across all Penn Cinema locations for those customers who would like them.

As always, if you have any specific questions or concerns, you may always speak with a member of our Management Team by contacting your local Penn Cinema theater.

Penn Cinema is a family owned and locally operated small business. We care deeply about the communities in which we are privileged to do business.
