Hosting a Drive-In Fundraiser
How does it work?
Round up your supporters for an evening of FUNdraising at Penn Cinema Drive-In. You pick the date and the movie (subject to availability) and promote the event to your supporters, members or followers. We’ll handle the rest. A portion of ticket sales support your organization.
How much does it cost?
That’s the best part! There is no out of pocket expense to host a Drive-In Fundraiser at Penn Cinema. Once 50% of available tickets have sold, your organization will receive 33% of gross ticket sales. A check will be mailed to your organization within 30 days of your event. Please note, a minimum of 50% of tickets must be sold for a fundraiser to occur.
Are we responsible for selling tickets?
Yes but we want to make that super simple for you. Penn Cinema will provide a custom ticketing page for your fundraiser so guests can easily purchase tickets. A small service fee will be charged to each guest to cover processing fees. Please note, tickets are available to the general public. If you are looking for a private function for your organization or company, a private rental may work better for you.
How many guests can we invite?
Our Drive-In capacities vary by location. Lititz, PA holds up to 80 vehicles. Huntingdon Valley, PA hold up to 62 vehicles. One vehicle per space. No walk-ups are permitted at this time.
Can we provide snacks?
Snacks are not included with our fundraiser package; however, our online concession ordering platform will be on during your event. Our team will be standing by to deliver orders directly to vehicles. While guests are welcome to bring their own snacks, we request that hosting organizations do not distribute snacks and drinks due to current safety and sanitization requirements.
What time does the show start?
Showtimes vary by event but, generally, all shows start approximately 30 minutes after sunset. Showtime is listed when purchasing tickets. Parking opens one hour before showtimes. Once the feature has begun, no late entry will be permitted.
